Next summer’s highly anticipated superhero movie Green Lantern becomes the cover story of EW this week. Ryan Reynolds is playing the character named Hal Jorden in the movie Green Lantern. Reynolds has prior experience about playing a character of a super hero as he played Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. He has done his job perfectly fine in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Image of Ryan Reynolds is published on the cover page of EW.

It seems Ryan is pretty much excited about his role in Green Lantern.  “Will and imagination are his superpowers,” Reynolds says. “We need a circus of Timothy Learys to think of things Hal would invent with his ring.”

Additional Information on the sequel:

Director Martin Campbell has confirmed the possibility of seeing a Green Lantern trilogy during interviews for Edge of Darkness. In June 2010, Warner Brothers studios hired Greg Berlanti, Michael Green and Marc Guggenheim, all of whom worked on the Green Lantern screenplay, to write a treatment for the second installment.
