The time is just 3 years from now, when 3D-enabled televisions will be in every living room. This is just a prediction, predicted by French game publisher Ubisoft.

Ubisoft’s marketing head of UK Murray Pannel told Eurogamer that “Ubisoft are a big fan of 3D.” Maybe this could be the reason of their prediction on 3D televisions and they also publish awesome 3D games from their house. Making a prediction like this is a sound marketing tool for their products.

Pannel added, ” The truth is I think it is a technology that’s coming. We can’t ignore it. It’ll start slowly this year. But like HDTV I wouldn’t rule out the fact that this will be installed in everyone’s living room in three year’s time, and for us to be in a position to have content that could really look absolutely amazing in 3D.”

There is no doubt that 3D technology looks awesome and many global corporations including Sony are trying hard to sell their 3D enabled products worldwide. Predicting on a hot and fresh technology like 3D would add some more publicity in the big basket of Ubisoft.
