‘Godzilla’ will Shake Cities Again from May 16, 2014
A big project that has been in development for several years is now have a release date. Warner Bros. and Legendary have set May 16, 2014 as the official release date for Godzilla. The very first teaser trailer of this upcoming movie was revealed at Comic-Con 2012 that you can watch right here below.
Primetime Emmy nominee Gareth Edwards will be directing Godzilla this time. Edwards is known for making movies like In the Shadow of the Moon (2007) and Monsters (2010). Godzilla is expected to rock in 3D. Just imagine the giant Godzilla popping-out from the giant screen. It will be cool. The fact about this movie to be shot in 3D is not clear yet. Warner Bros. and Legendary will co-produce, co-finance and distribute per this project. Flick will fall into the genres action, sci-fi and thriller. Screenplay of Godzilla will be written by David S. Goyer (the Dark Knight trilogy) and Max Borenstein (The Seventh Son). Daved Callaham the guy who wrote the characters for all three Expendables movies and story of first movie The Expendables is also with the writing team.
