Amanda Bynes

Amanda Bynes is on the cover of Paper magazine’s annual “Break the Internet” issue. She hasn’t done any movie or tv series since the year 2010. In the interview published in Paper, she talks about ups and downs of her career.

Today, the actress is actually making headlines and almost breaking the internet by trending on Google Trends. It happened because she talked about the depressing phase of her career.  And surprisingly the dark phase arrived in her life after doing movies like She’s the Man and Easy A.

She’s the Man was a modern retelling of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, released in 2006. Most of her on-screen time in the movie was as a boy and the actress says that made her mentally upset for few months. Here’s what she said.

“When the movie came out and I saw it, I went into a deep depression for 4-6 months because I didn’t like how I looked when I was a boy. I’ve never told anyone that.”

She added, “Seeing herself with short hair and sideburns was a super strange and out-of-body experience. It just really put me into a funk.”

Anyhow, her overall experience of working in Hollywood wasn’t bad. As she explained that she had a great time working in Hairspray movie. It was one of the best acting experiences for her.
