Carrie Ann Inaba Replaced Julie Chen on CBS’ The Talk

Carrie Ann Inaba

Dancing with the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba will be co-hosting CBS’ The Talk in January. She will be joining the main and permanent people of the show including Sheryl Underwood, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne and Eve.

Previously Inaba and Rosie O’Donnell mostly replaced Chen’s seat back in September. The reason behind Chen leaving is a little sad and personal.

She is taking time off because her husband and CBS Corp CEO Leslie Moonves was fired amid sexual misconduct allegations.

Before leaving Chen endorsed Inaba by saying the following.

Carrie Ann, I don’t know, but in my opinion, you look awful good sitting in that chair, my Asian sister. I’m just saying!

And the show makers didn’t choose Carrie Ann Inaba out of the air or without any prior experience. As this announcement came after Inaba guest hosted the show every day this week.

While Julie Chen is gone from The Talk, viewers will still see her continuing hosting CBS’s Big Brother, confirmed Deadline.
