Filming of Marvel’s ‘Black Widow’ to Begin This Month

Black Widow - Scarlett Johansson

Fans including myself are waiting for Black Widow movie from a certain amount of time period. I couldn’t be happier to reveal that the filming of Marvel’s Black Widow will begin before the end of this month.

The self-titled blockbuster’s shooting will begin in the UK, probably this month. The official summary of the movie is kept under the wraps by the giant studio.

But we do know that film will be directed by Cate Shortland. The screenplay is written by Jac Schaeffer.

As for the cast, only one person’s name is revealed publically. Scarlett Johansson will be playing Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow in Marvel’s Black Widow.

There’s another surprise element about this film. Till now Marvel was making movies targeting the younger audience. But this will be the very first R-rated (15) movie from the studio.

On IMDb, a guy named Derek Rich has submitted a storyline. And here it is.

At birth the Black Widow (aka Natasha Romanova) is given to the KGB, which grooms her to become its ultimate operative. When the U.S.S.R. breaks up, the government tries to kill her as the action moves to present-day New York, where she is a freelance operative. The standalone film will find Romanoff living in the United States 15 years after the fall of the Soviet Union.

The official synopsis is yet to be revealed by Marvel Studios.

Here’s a little trivia element related to this movie. In the comics, Daredevil and Black Widow are a couple and Charlie Cox, who plays Daredevil in Netflix’s original series wishes to do a crossover movie.
