Lady Gaga published an image on her Instagram profile a few hours ago. The 21st century has changed many definitions. The meaning of a beautiful art has several angles. What can be art for one person, it could be ugly for the other. It depends on the eyes of the beholder, what the person sees in an image or a circumstance.
When I saw this image I got several thoughts in my mind. Like, Wow, this is weird, man it looks ugly. But then I thought this:
People in the fashion and entertainment industry these days make several modifications in images before officially publishing them. Let’s talk about women here only. Nobody’s look is perfect, but we look really good as we humans are.
This image is telling that by modifying the original images before publishing, big companies are actually making people look and feel like this internally.
Photoshop might give the celebrities and models the beautiful look from outside, but as a human, somewhere they get the feeling of insecurity. Because their body’s real look is perfect, but for some people in the entertainment industry, it’s not good enough. And that should change.
Images of Females should be published without photoshop modifications. If you agree with me then please share this article within your circle, with hashtag #ShowUsAsWeAre
