SpongeBob Squarepants Creator Stephen Hillenburg’s Ashes Dropped in Sea

Sadly, Stephen Hillenburg, the creator of the hit Nickelodeon show “SpongeBob SquarePants” passed away at the end of last month. The whole industry felt sad and paid their condolences towards the show creator.

He died because of heart failure as a result of his ALS decease.

Today TMZ got their hands on the death certificate of Stephen Hillenburg. In which the mentioned cause of death was a cardiopulmonary failure due to ALS. The document revealed that Hillenburg’s body was cremated and his ashes were scattered at sea.

At least 500 yards off the coast of California.

Upon his death, many people offered their condolences on Twitter.
